The Baptist collection of A.B. Colvin composes the largest group in the A.B. Colvin Baptist Collection and Archives. It consists of thousands of books, manuscripts, and periodicals directly related to the history of Southern Baptists. Other special collections focus on original art in children’s literature, University history, the papers of Clyde T. Fransisco, etc. The Archives also contains documents, print materials, photographs, and media that go back to 1906 when the Russell Creek Academy was founded. Campbellsville University grew from this academy.
