Self-Plagiarism: Reusing Old Work for a New Assignment

It is also considered plagiarism if you reuse work for multiple classes. Your professors want you to do new wordsmithing work to learn something new. An athlete can’t say, "well I did that workout last month, so I will just count it as today’s workout." However, if you think you have a good reason to reuse part of an old paper for a new project, just be honest and talk to your instructor about it.
