Montgomery Library Digital Repository

The Montgomery Library Digital Repository (MLDR) is a platform created via D-Space to host academic materials created by the CU staff, faculty, and students. This digital repository collects, preserves, and distributes the academic and scholarly digital material from the CU campuses throughout an individual's educational journey. The goal of this space is to perpetuate the sharing of knowledge and scholarship by hosting the academic works of those who have participated in the cultivation of Christian higher education.

Library Instruction

Library instruction teaches students how to find the resources they need to complete their assignments. Faculty may request up to two sessions per course section. It is available face-to-face in the classroom or online by appointment with the librarian. Request Library Instruction through the online form on the library webpage or use the link provided below.

Video Tutorials

CU Search Video

Since last academic year, a new version of CU Search appeared on the library webpage. The update makes it easier for users to search for materials across all disciplines.  Some of the updates to CU Search include providing specific publications and/or a Research Starter when researching a topic.  Our Instruction Librarian, Micah Followay, created this tutorial for those people who need assistance using CU Search or need help using the new update compared to the previous version.

Advanced CU Search Video

There may come a time while researching an assignment that your search results are too vast or irrelevant. The Advanced Search mode of CU Search can assist you in narrowing your research results.  Filters that can be selected include but are not limited to Full-Text, Peer-Reviewed, Source Type, Language, and Publication.

Avoiding Plagiarism Video

We have revised our plagiarism video. This brief tutorial informs you how to avoid plagiarism and properly cite an author's work used for an assignment.  For more information and assistance with citations, consult the Purdue Online Writing Lab or the Badgett Academic Support Center (BASC).
